Sírio-Libanês Scientific Hall

The Sírio-Libanês Scientific Hall is an internal event that features presentations of scientific output developed at the Institution, providing visibility to research projects and developing skills to advance along the researcher training pathway. 

Given its importance, the Scientific Hall Given its importance, the Scientific Salon is a consolidated part of the institution's annual calendar, serving as a collaborative event that fosters an intense exchange of experiences among researchers. Students from undergraduate research, master's, academic doctoral, and postdoctoral programs, as well as specialization courses, present their work in a poster format in the same environment, which allows for intense interaction. The space is open for the entire Sírio-Libanês community to participate, promoting the dissemination of knowledge, the broadening of horizons, and inspiring new students to engage in research.

Students who are at the beginning of their journey, experience the Scientific Hall as a constructive and important experience for their career development, since they are introduced to the world of research and graduate studies in a completely immersive way, taking on a leading role in the scientific process and fostering their interests in research and science. Students from specialization courses (Lato Sensu) have the Scientific Hall as a space to present their final course work, while Stricto Sensu students can hone the essential skills for developing and disseminating their results.

At the event, students have the opportunity to present the partial or final results of their scientific research to the Sírio-Libanês community and to an evaluation committee composed of internal and external members of the Institution with recognized scientific excellence. All work presented at the Sírio-Libanês Scientific Hall follow the guidelines published in the official notice. This ensures that the scientific method, as well as technical and ethical perspectives, are considered for the production of academic materials.
